The Children's Department of the Norwood Church of the Nazarene's main purpose is for the children to learn about Jesus and to gain a better understanding of the Bible.   At the same time, we want them to have "fun" in Christ with all of their  friends while at church. 

 

Some of the activities we do include:

        *Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Party

        *Christmas Cantata and Program

        *Vacation Bible School

        *Outdoor Activities and Trips

        *Children's Day

        *Pumpkin Patch Trip

 

We currently average between 8-15 children per Sunday, and also have a weekly Children's Church for children ages 4-grade 5.  One Sunday a month, the children join with the service in the Sanctuary, where we have a Children's Sermon for them.  During this service, our children are provided with "Pew Pal" bags, full of Crayons, paper projects, pencils, Bible puzzles, and other sheets to help keep their hands and minds active. 

 

We love our kids and enjoy having a good time with them!!  Come join in the fun!!
